Here at Black History And Me we believe in shining a light on the people who made an impact from the black community here in the United Kingdom.

By showing their faces, sharing their names and who they were, through our poster designs, we hope to inspire a better sense of identity & build a stronger connection to our own black history within this country.

Black history is far too often the untold story & Black History And Me, with your support, will endeavour to better educate & inspire children and communities across the uk in schools & homes.

Removing black stories from history is dangerously dehumanising & reduces black history to the story of the enslavement of Africans.

The black community is and has been much more than that one narrative & with our poster designs we can’t wait to share the incredible individuals who have contributed to our history in inspiring & impactful ways.
